Iron Ronin was born from a shared vision between two people connected by family, friendship, and a belief in the power of discipline, resilience, and personal growth.
Rich and Christy founded Iron Ronin through a mutual admiration for Japanese culture and the philosophy of the samurai. Inspired by the values that defined the ronin - honour, perseverance, discipline, and independence - they set out to create more than just a brand. They wanted to create a mindset.
Christy, a lifelong fitness enthusiast, understands the transformative power of movement, training, and pushing beyond perceived limits. Fitness became the foundation for a bigger idea: that the strength we build in our bodies reflects the strength we develop within ourselves.
Rich shared the same belief from a different perspective. The discipline, integrity, and resilience found in samurai philosophy resonated deeply, and together they realised those values are just as relevant today as they were centuries ago.
Iron Ronin was created to embody that philosophy.
The name represents the spirit of the ronin - warriors who walked their own path, guided by their own code rather than external validation. In the modern world, that spirit lives in anyone who chooses growth over comfort, discipline over excuses, and progress over perfection.
At its core, Iron Ronin is about balance. Strength and discipline. Power and control. Physical training paired with mental resilience.
We believe everyone carries an inner warrior. The challenge is simply choosing to awaken it.
Iron Ronin exists to remind people that they are stronger than they think, that growth comes through perseverance, and that true strength comes from within.
This is not just about fitness.
It’s about mindset.
It’s about discipline.
It’s about becoming the strongest version of yourself.
